my little oral presentation is on wed!!aahh!!i'm soooo trying not to panic!!being quite awhile since i last spoke in front of people!!according to the lecturer, he claims that 'there is nothing to be afraid of 'cause everyone around you have to do it too'..i'm soooo not believing that..5mins of hell standing in front of the class!!let's hope i do not make a blunder!!

the joy of blogging - to express views & thoughts you would never dream of saying to anyone, to criticise an unknown person, to vent your anger, to tear open your heart..its sad when you no longer have an audience that appreciates your work..its like acting on stage to empty chairs & not hear the applause echo in the hall..that's how I'm feeling now..my only audience is gone..its time for me to step down.............................

saw this little white horses when i was out having dinner just now..reminds me of the time when my mum brings me down the block to ride on the $0.20/$0.50 machine horses..ahahax..don't really get to see them often these days..

been a little busy this past few days with sch work..yeah, i can't believe that prep classes actually has homework too..so far its like been in british council & learning english from scratch..add a few assignments on essays & report writing & you would get what i'm going through now..kind of enjoying it though..the process of learning & all..ahahax..& i've been thinking where we should go for holidays when i get my timetable..my dad is thinking of going europe or hokkiado..ahahax..i like hokkiado though..get to see my music box factory!! =)

i'm feeling disillusioned & annoyed..yeah, i've been through this kinda stuff in MI, so i should be used to it but still...i'm only human..going through it all over again is like a second nightmare!!yeah, i know that not everyone lives to love each other & that unpleasantness would occur now & then..but still..sometimes, we should all learn to put our past behind & move forward..being petty & 小心眼 is so in the past where we go round chasing each other, etc..& it can really kill you & cost you your friends!!

anyway, our little photo session with the 'cows' yesterday..had lots of fun & ate a ton..came back feeling sick..eeww~

boy, am i glad that i got my lenses back!!the whole week without it was like living in a glass home!!walking around like a bespectacled geek is not a fun thing to attempt..seriously, life with lenses is so much more enjoyable..my butter fingers failed to save the lens in time & down it went into the drainage hole where all the yicky stuff are..that was how my days of torture started..might be a little exaggerated, some of you would think but after wearing it for 7 years, i'm used to seeing things with my 'perfect' eyesight..i'm just glad that i got it back!! =)

went to watch the National Day Full-Dress Preview yesterday..no, i wasn't 1 of those poor students sitting under the hot sun at 2pm, waiting for the show to start at 6pm..was at Esplanade Bay at around 7.15pm & stood there for 'bout an hour until the interesting part came..FIREWORKS!!although it was only 15mins long, i heard that they spend nearly half a million for it!!

the fireworks was really great & i frankly think that the Bay has the best view..don't need to climb up to the roof of the Esplanade to watch!!just stand at the Bay!!you can enjoy a nice breeze & watch the fireworks right in front of your nose!!this year parade is really unique..

there was this part where they made used of many big balloons tied to an individual boat each & let them float into the stadium..how cool is that?!?!you don't get to see that every other National Day!!ahahax..then there was fire sparks spilling from Sheares Bridge too!!it was a really pretty sight!! =) everyone should go catch it if they have a chance..heard that there is another preview next weekend..go to the Bay & get a good place!!

classes have started & i'm starting to get back the momentum of going to school, studying & doing homework..heard from 1 of the academic officer that there is an orientation week in mid-August too..but i realised as one gets older, its more difficult to make friends & to trust the other party..it used to be 'let's share our lunch together' or 'what's your name & where do you live?'..but now, a little smile or nod of acknowledgement is all you get from the other party!!life is getting more difficult as we grow older..everything that i took for granted when i was a kid, i want it all back!!

lala's latest craze: 'i'm not a plastic bag' bag..the bag was on sale in US for quite some time but it was recently introduced in HK & SG..people actually queued up for the bag!!if i'm not wrong, it was selling in the US at less than US$30 but its double the price in SG!!just beacause we don't have to queue up (you just have to go to the boutique to place an order & when its here, they will ring you up), dosen't mean they have to double the price!!seriously, if celebrities didn't start carrying them around, this fad wouldn't have started!!& to meet demand, factories would have to produce more, pollution increase, wastage increase, i don't see how its going to help the Earth!!waste of money & resources!!!!!

so we found a perfect match for SH yesterday..the picture is very blur but don't they just look so compatible?!ahahax..realised she's 1 lucky woman; every person that sits next to her is a guy!!be it in the bus or the train!!ahahax..but she still prefers Mr Green Man.. =) (thanks for the necklace!!)

anyway, ate too much meat over the weekends..so i decided to be a vegan for this week to get rid of all the toxins..or else i would feel funny!!all the meat that i ate is enough to last me for 1 whole week!!so no fear ppl, i won't faint half-way!!i wanna watch Harry Potter!!eileen & june are watching it tomorrow!! (is it supposed to be a secret?!) when i'm having classes!!looking at all the timing & the number of bookings, i think i would be able to watch it next week only!!

lala can't decide where she wanna meet & what she wanna do on wed..we ended up 'arguing' about the venue & she won........ =( so i'm meeting her after classes at her favourite place where she can get cheap bargains for clothes, bags, etc..ahahax..she's going to kill me if she sees this!!

anyway, my dad finally decides to use the wallet i gave him for Father's Day..

we bought it from Aussie departure terminal..yup, its from Bally..ahahax..he's very particular 'bout the material, where its made from, etc..glad he finally found something that meets his 'criteria'!! =)

time passes really very fast..before i know it, i've spent nearly a year at home after my last 'A' level paper..while everyone else is out looking for a job or starting work, i was at home..spending time in front of the computer or watching VCDs..during this period of time, i spend lots of quality time with my parents too..realised that without them, i would be really helpless..wish that time would stop & that they would never aged & we would always be together!! =)

prep classes would be starting next week..really excited but a little scared 'bout entering a new environment..hopefully all goes well!!

celebrated cres's b'dae yesterday at Harbour Front/Vivo city with lala..we ended up eating Sakae sushi after scouting other food places..ahahax..& as we sat there & gossip away, it felt like old times again, when we're all back in school with our Millennian uniforms, gossiping away..it was really fun, the gossips & all..got to catch up with her life, what's she's been doing so far..really glad that she took time off to meet us for her mini celebration..though there were only 3 of us, am glad that she had a great time!! (lala refused to be in the picture with us)

& the both of them were asking me where & how i'm going to celebrate my 21st b'dae..was thinking 'bout that on my way back but was too tired..ahahax..great time we had yesterday!!we should meet up more often for coffee!! =)

GST HIKE!!an increase of 2%!!don't think we would feel it much if we buy small items but if you're buying a car or a house, its thousands of dollars more..went to Popular yesterday to get some stationery & saw the before & after prices..they should have removed the old prices, don't think anyone would want to know how much it cost before..ahahax..heard this parent telling her kid that they should have bought all the stuff on Saturday instead of Sunday..but how long can we run away from it??it would be part of our lives for the next 10-20 years..so instead of moaning & groaning 'bout it, i feel that we should just accept it & try to spend less if you're very particular 'bout it..
